I made this for my teacher's birthday (she's my French and AP U.S History teacher), and she always says when people ask what she wants she says "World Peace". Well, since she's an amazing teacher and I've had her for like a year and a half now, off and on through AP and French... I wanted to give her something. She loves Tigger and the color green. c: Tiger is close to world peace right?

Also. The series itself, Winnie the Pooh - it's actually pretty dark in the book, even the wording of it is sophisticated - talking about death, and fears - but it's to help the reader cope, and have a limitless imagination. But as I was talking with my mother about the characters, I realized that they are all relate-able in a source of troubles and problems that many people face. Maybe that's why people make a connection with many of the characters, even after their childhood has ended? These are just my thoughts, and I can relate to them - simply because I know people like it in real life.

Pooh - has an eating disorder.
Piglet - has a speech impediment and is constantly timid and full of fears.
Rabbit - has OCD and anxiety.
Tigger - has ADHD.
Eeyore - suffers from extreme depression and mood swings of happiness to sadness.
Roo - suffers from a lack of a father figure.
Kanga - misses her husband and broods about it leaving her child with Tigger.
Owl - he lives alone because he's a smart arse (correcting and being very precise in his observations).
Christopher Robin - has a mental disability and talks to stuffed animals; or rather, has an over active imagination that would not cease into his adulthood - either are debatable.

So, which one did you enjoy as a kid (or now)?

Also, please don't comment if you're going to refer to me slandering or hating on people with the disabilities above - many of my friends or people that I know suffer from at least some of them. I mean, aren't we all human? Even the stuffed animals have problems, but that doesn't mean that we don't love them. c: I think each character is very dear and helpful to me - I grew up with them. They each taught me to be myself, conquer my fears, be brave and enjoy life and friendship. Simple, but amazing.
